Hey its been a while since I've written anything...been busy editing 3 weddings, Just one more to go. And then tomorrow I have another wedding and the weekend after that as well, and then on the 30th I have a Family Portrait Session for a family of 11.  So I finished editing one of the weddings and then took a much needed break and went camping with my sister Pauline and her husband Rick and their grandson Luke. It was so much fun...Finesse had been begging me to go camping for 3 years, since we moved to WA. state. So finally we were able to go. We left on a Thursday...went and picked up Pauline and Luke and drove about an hour and a half to Big Creek National Forest, near Lake Cushman. It was a nice drive and I really enjoyed visiting with Pauline. Then we got to the campsite...and it was pretty empty so we had our pick of campsites...we couldn't decide, there were 2 that we loved so I finally just said to Pauline " you and Adam decide" so they did. I loved it. so Adam and Pauline set up Lukes little tent and then took out our food from the van, then we all took a little stroll to the creek and spent some time there talking and watching Luke play and throw rocks into the water. then we started to head back to the campsite and when we got there Rick was there taking his canoe off of his pop-up camper trailer, so Adam helped him.  And Pauline and I got started on putting up the big tent that Adam and I and Finesse would be sleeping in...we did a good job all by ourselves, it was fun! Then we built a campfire and started dinner, and sat by the fire, then we went to Lake Cushman to visit Rick's brother at his campsite...we sat around their fire for awhile and then came back to ours and sat around talking for awhile and then we all went to bed. Rick stayed in Luke's little tent and Pauline had the pop-up camper all to herself.

The next morning we got up had coffee, sat around the campfire...read the daily text, had our breakfast, did dishes, then we went over to John and Jody's campsite again...John ( rick's brother) has a Speedboat, so Adam and I rode in it and watched John's daughter and friend being pulled on the innertube. I couldn't resist I wanted to get on so bad, Adam got on first ( which really surprised us all because is afraid of water) so he was on the inner tube as we pulled out and then by the time we were returning it was me being pulled on it...I just had to get on. It was so much fun! I really got thrashed around on it...I rode the waves from side to side and got bounced around so much, a few times the innertube was atleast 2ft. off of the water and I was about a foot off the innertub, down I came onto the tube, and then down we both came onto the water...very hard, but very fun! When I first got on the tube...John took off too slow so I went down like a submarine...deep into the water, kinda scared me at first, so I finally realized "Okay let go of the  handles so that you'll float up" so I did. I got back on it and had lots of fun. then on the ride back in to the launching site...Jonh slowed down so fast that I went down again...in front of everyone Pauline, Rick, Jody, Finesse they all laughed and so did I. that is what I get for getting up on my knees and extending my arms like I was flying...the next thing I knew I was in the water again.  We got out of the boat and sat by the water visiting and drying up.

Then we went back to the campsite started a fire, started dinner and sat by the fire, started to rain, so we moved the chairs and stuff underneath the pop up trailer, then went to bed. Next morning we did the same thing as the previous morning...Coffee, campfire, daily text, breakfast, Oh! we all had the Wathtower Study, Rich conducted it...I really enjoyed the study then we did dishes, then we went for a ride while it was raining...Pauline and Rick showed us other campsites that they have stayed at before and we took a little hike. Then we got back started a campfire, started dinner, ate and sat around campfire...it started to rain again we started to put the chairs away again...Pauline hurt her finger pretty bad, she smashed it between a log and the pic nic table as she was throwing the log under the table. It bleed pretty bad and wouldn't stop, we finally got it to stop, it got swollen really fast and turned black and blue I cleaned it out with peroxide and put neosporine on it and bandaged it up. and then we all went to bed. The next morning we did our same morning routine...Started to break camp to get ready to leave by 2pm. A friend of Rick's came by to visit his name is Rick too, he and his daughter came. So he helped us too, as his 4 year old daughter played with Luke (luke is 6). Then we headed home Luke rode with us and we watched "The Incredibles" on my portable DVD player then we stopped at an Ice Cream place and had some pretty awesome icecream. Then we got to Paulines and said our goodbyes. Then we went to Daniel and Kasandra's to see the kids ( I missed them so much) and Kasandra made us dinner. We found out that Roselie Poggensee had hurt herself the day we left for camping and that she had broke 3 little bones in the tip of her index finger on her left hand, so we called her and made arrangement to stop by and see them the next day. After dinner I got on the floor and rolled around with the kids and let them crawl all over me and played and hugged and loved on them before we left. It was a Fantastic Weekend and and gettaway. I will post pics. soon. Okay well back to editing pics. 1 more wedding to go before my next wedding tomorrow.
